The White Hart Inn

THE WHITE HART

HART OF DERBYSHIRE

"The original character of the building has stayed intact but expect plenty of 21st century touches"

THE LOCATION

Sitting in the village of Moorwood Moor, in the middle of stunning Derbyshire countryside, the White Hart Inn is a classic English Inn given a swirl of modernity.

The redevelopment of the public house took David Ashley Developments Ltd. eight months to complete to the trademark high standard.

The combination of new high quality materials and the re-use of original materials has resulted in this being perhaps the most charismatic development to date in our portfolio.

THE DEVELOPMENT

Upon purchasing the property the team at David Ashley Developments Ltd. carefully deconstructed the majority of the existing structure, preserving original features for re-use in the development such as the well, found during the deconstruction process.

Reclaimed brick and stone walls with solid oak beams has ensured the original character of the building has stayed intact but embraced plenty of 21st century touches. Renewables have been used in design, making the building modern yet refined.

The new building was designed to include the main pub restaurant area and accompanying kitchen and cellar. To the side there is a large function room and above are ten spacious bedroom suites.

Due to the popularity of the pub after the initial renovation, we extended the building to create an additional 7 bedrooms, another function room and a seperate reception for the hotel.
